A continuous stream of ships passes through the locks at "The Soo", connecting Lakes Huron and Superior. Watch the fascinating process from a viewing platform or travel through them on a two-hour boat tour. Marvel at the wilderness north of the Soo on a day-long Agawa Canyon train ride, passing cliffs, lakeshores and rivers, and have time to hike and picnic at the canyon. It's especially splendid in fall (reserve ahead). With its landscaping and hardwood trees, the campground makes a peaceful retreat.
